"We once had a work colleague that would have get-together-drinks at her old, musty house and then proceed to drunkenly embarrass everyone there. We were always too polite to say no. But she would Just roast everyone to their face while we played pool. Anyway, she was a big believer in crystal power and never let anyone touch them as they were the source of her "success." I stole a large pink quartz ball from her home while she was yelling at us to get out of her home from her bathroom. I threw it in the back pouch of my car and forgot about it. I found it recently and got a pay rise of about 10k at a new job at around the same time. I'm not big on the crystal thing, but I get such solace thinking that her success is now min. "

My car used to belong to my Mother-in-law, I was recently repairing something and under a panel found a pair of her old prescription glasses. They must have somehow fell in between a crevice and winded up there. She hasn't driven the car since 2016 (ironically when her eyesight got too bad), so needless to say they were no longer useful.

A pencil. Funny story about that: that pencil came out of my first car nearly 20 years ago, every time I buy a new (well, to me) car I always make sure I keep that pencil, it's almost like a weird nostalgia. However, it gets put in the visor (that's where I found it in my first car, so that's where it goes in every car now) so I do forget about it most of the time About two years ago I had a fire in my last car, luckily the interior of the car was spared and I was able to save that pencil. It will stay with me forever.

The car's only a few months old and I opened the glove box for the first time the other day to put something in there, found the owners manual and stuff in a pouch so I looked at it out of curiosity.  The spare key was in a pocket in the front of it, probably a good thing that I found it so it's actually useful to me now if I need it and someone who breaks in can't use it!

What are you calling recent? Last week my kid biffed it in a ditch at the playground and lost his shoe in the collected water. I rummaged around in the car and had a change of socks and shoes in there for him so we could continue to play at the park.

No in my car but I found a carhart jacket in my room the other day while I was cleaning. I had a similar one in prison and idk why but wearing it out in public makes me feel more secure so I don't get crowd anxiety as much when I wear it. The only problem is it's a really good jacket so wearing it in the summer is suicide.
