Moderately happy. In part because being patronised & sneered at by Remainers annoyed me. In part because the EU is fantastically corrupt expensive & wasteful. It’s doomed in the long terms if it doesn’t get it’s shit together over its financial structures, the Euro is a currency joke. In part because we will have greater control when we get rid of the EU Commissioners. I’m slightly nervous because doing trade deals with the EU/US/China is going to be hard and lengthy, and I’m not sure how good our politicians will be at negotiating.
I voted to Leave, and I’d do so again, but I have to say I am hesitant about what our future will look like. I flirted with the idea of switching to Remain when some of the details of the Trump deal started to hit the press, but then realised it was probably a knee-jerk reaction. I’m not really interested in debating the point though, we’ve had 3 1/2 years of this situation, and I’ve heard probably every argument on both sides more times than I’ve had hot dinners. I’m just glad it’s finally happening, and that Democracy won.
I’m just angry, all the racists and bigots have swarmed and gotten racists and bigots in power and now life is going to get a lot harder for anyone of colour. I’ve been hoping all these years it would blow over but now it feels like its going to be one of those things that sounds like the backstory of a dystopian novel.
‘THANK GOD, FINALLY!’ are my thoughts.

Honestly? When Brexit pops up in the news this is usually what my mind wanders to
